You do not need to be a member of our ministry.
You do not need to belong to a particular church or denomination.
And you do not need to arrive with the right words.

Water + Fire
Throughout Scripture, water appears again and again in moments of cleansing, renewal, restoration, crossing over, and new beginnings.
Fire carries equally powerful imagery-God's presence, refinement, purification, light, and the Holy Spirit.
Baptism by Fire brings these biblical themes together in a simple experience:
Mineral-rich spring water.
Wood-burning fire.
Quiet surroundings.
And intentional time set apart.
Our soaking pools are filled with water from the historic mineral spring at Happy Acres and gently warmed by wood-burning fire.

The Spring At Happy Acres
For approximately a century, a mineral spring has been part of the story of this land.
Today, we are grateful for the opportunity to incorporate its naturally mineral-rich water into our ministry of hospitality, rest, and renewal.
Across generations and cultures, people have gathered around natural springs and warm waters seeking rest and restoration.
Depending upon their natural composition, mineral waters are often appreciated for their possible ability to complement relaxation, soothe tired muscles and joints, support healthy skin, reduce feelings of everyday stress, and encourage an overall sense of well-being.
We make no promise that soaking will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
For us, the experience is much simpler.
Warmth. Stillness. Rest.
Sometimes that's exactly what we need.
A Place For Sabbath Rest
Rest isn't something we have to earn.
Throughout Scripture, we find invitations to Sabbath, stillness, hospitality, fellowship, prayer, and withdrawing from the demands of everyday life.
Baptism by Fire creates a physical space where those practices can happen.
During your time here, you might:
• Sit quietly and listen to the fire.
• Pray or meditate on Scripture.
• Reflect on something happening in your life.
• Share meaningful conversation with someone you love.
• Practice gratitude.
• Watch the sky and reconnect with creation.
• Or simply do absolutely nothing for a little while.
“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
There is no required religious activity and no expectation that you practice a particular denomination or tradition.
Our ministry simply provides the space and welcomes you into it to experience for yourself, if you choose a minster to guide you through this process; we’re available to you.
OPEN TO OUR COMMUNITY
You do not have to become a member to experience Baptism by Fire.
Our ministry welcomes individuals, couples, friends, families, visitors, and members of our community who are seeking intentional time for rest and renewal.
To protect the peaceful nature of the experience, soaking sessions are intentionally limited to four guests at a time.
Advance reservations are required so that we can prepare the wood fire, water, and space for your arrival.

For those who find themselves returning regularly or simply believe in what we're creating - our Baptism by Fire Membership provides another way to participate.
$35 / Month
Membership contributions help provide firewood, care for the soaking area, maintain the mineral-water system, and support the continuing charitable and religious work of Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy.
Members may also receive special member soaking rates, priority reservation opportunities, and invitations to future ministry experiences.
You don't need a membership to be welcomed here.
Membership simply helps us continue welcoming others.

We don't believe renewal always has to happen inside four walls.
Sometimes ministry looks like gathering together.

Sometimes it looks like fellowship around a fire.
And sometimes it looks like giving someone who has been carrying too much a quiet place to sit in warm water and breathe.
That is the heart behind Baptism by Fire.

Baptism by Fire is offered through Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy (B.E.S.T.)
501(c)(3) nonprofit religious ministry at Happy Acres.
Our ministry holds space for fellowship, spiritual practice, charitable hospitality, education, recreation, community gathering, Sabbath rest, and opportunities for personal and spiritual renewal.
Participation contributions help offset the costs associated with providing this ministry; including firewood, sanitation, water-system care, maintenance, facilities, and stewardship of the property -while helping support the continuing nonprofit mission of B.E.S.T.
Our doors and our ministry are intended to serve people from many walks of life.
You don't have to believe exactly as we do to be welcomed by us.
