Our ministry travels far and wide! For over a decade, our LMT Minister travels to IDD Care homes on a weekly basis. Those who travel to us for Sabbath Rest and Group Camping are able to experience Laying of the Hands.

Throughout Scripture, laying of the hands appears in moments of prayer, blessings, commissioning, healing, comfort and care.
The significance wasn't simply the physical act of touching another person. That understanding is at the heart of this ministry.
We don't believe every person who walks through our doors needs the same thing.
Some need prayer, quiet, someone to listen, compassionate human connection.
And some simply need a safe place where their body can finally rest.
We hold space for all of it.

Licensed Massage Therapists may provide professional therapeutic massage therapy and bodywork within the scope of their Oregon licenses as part of this broader environment of care.
Professional boundaries, informed consent, dignity, and respect remain at the heart of every experience.
The hands can be trained.
The hearts can still serve.

Oil and Touch appear throughout Scripture in moments of hospitality, preparation, blessings, prayers and care.
Natural oils and aromatic botanicals can invite deeper breathing, slowing the pace of the moment, and creating an atmosphere for reflection and rest.
The Experience
You are invited to slow down.
Your experience may include professional massage and bodywork, quiet reflection, anointed oils, breath awareness or prayer when requested.
Afterward, give yourself a moment. Sit. Breathe. Walk outside.
You don’t have to immediately return to the noise.
Prayer is welcome but not required.
No particular denomination or religious participation is necessary.
Individuals from many walks of life are welcome to receive care.
Come tired, busy, needing quiet, wanting prayer, or simply to rest.

Laying of the Hands is offered through Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy (B.E.S.T.), a 501(c)3 nonprofit religious ministry at Happy Acres.
Our ministry creates space for faith, fellowship, prayer, charitable hospitality, education, recreation, community gathering, Sabbath rest, compassionate care, and opportunities for personal and spiritual renewal.
Professional services offered by licensed practitioners remain subject to the laws, professional standards, informed-consent requirements, and scope of practice applicable to those practitioners.
Laying of the Hands and prayer are not represented as medical treatment, and no particular physical, emotional, or spiritual outcome is promised.
