And sometimes someone entrusts us with something deeply meaningful and simply asks us to:

What comes into this ministry helps us create opportunities for fellowship, education, charitable hospitality, community gatherings, ministry experiences, recreation, retreats, and spaces where people can simply belong.
What we receive, we try to put back into the community.
There Are Many Ways To Serve
Give Something Useful
Furniture, supplies, equipment, food, firewood, plants, books, educational materials, recreation equipment, and other items.
Give Your Time
Help with gatherings, property projects, hospitality, setup, cleanup, gardening, or simply lend another set of hands.
Share Your Knowledge
Teach something. Lead a workshop. Share a skill. Mentor someone. Help another person learn something you know.
Share Your Professional Skills
Educators, tradespeople, wellness professionals, artists, musicians, organizers, business, and other community members can contribute their talents.
Support The Ministry
Financial gifts help support the spaces, programs, property, utilities, supplies, maintenance, charitable, hospitality, and community activities that make the ministry possible.
Show Up
Sometimes service is surprisingly simple. Come to the gather. Come to the gathering. Sit with someone new. Bring a friend. Share a meal. Listen. Community needs people willing to participate in it.
CARRY IT FORWARD
Sometimes a gift carries a story.
Some of the instruments and objects used throughout our ministry have been entrusted to us by people who wanted something meaningful to continue serving others.
Our singing bowls are one example.
Rather than allowing something meaningful to simply disappear from someone's life, it can be placed into the hands of another community and continue creating moments of stillness, reflection, connection, and care.
Our Hospitality supports community gatherings, outreach, retreats, group camping, visiting participants, ministry partners, volunteers, families, and others participating in the religious and charitable life of Happy Acres.
The gift doesn't stop with us.

Through volunteerism, charitable giving, shared resources, community partnerships, hospitality, education, recreation, and ministry activities, we invite people to participate in caring for both this place and one another.
