OMRS

Our Mission

For over 35 years, our beliefs have remained the same: people with disabilities should be given every opportunity to be contributing and productive members of the community.

Guided by Jesus’ example of love and compassion, OMRS supports individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities  so that all – employees and people served – are treated with dignity and respect, feel a sense of belonging, see their abilities valued, and experience personal growth.

Juliette’s House

Our mission is to compassionately assess and provide support to abused or neglected children.  We strive to minimize added trauma to these kids by working collaboratively with area law enforcement, the DA’s office, Child Protective Services, mental health agencies and Crime Victim Services. The assessments we provide follow a medical model that involves both a complete medical exam, along with a comprehensive forensic interview of our kids in a home-like, child-friendly setting. Our house is designed to minimize trauma to the child and help make the investigation, treatment and follow-up process less frightening and more successful for the child and the child’s family.

If you suspect abuse, please call:

Henderson House

Our mission is providing culturally aware outreach, education, and services for victims of domestic and sexual violence through leadership, hope and respect for thriving families.

Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society

Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for our shelter animals. As Oregon’s first no-kill shelter, we have been serving our community since 1975. Our mission is to “Improving the lives of cats and dogs through adoption and community partnerships.”   Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society is an independent organization, as humane societies are not connected to one another.

We welcome your support! Our organization is primarily funded through donations from caring citizens in our community. Your contributions of volunteer time and funding help to ensure that our community’s homeless animals receive the help that they need and deserve.
