Sacred Sound is a ministry experience of Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy created to offer our community intentional time for rest, prayer, flection, fellowship, and renewal through the gentle sounds and vibrations of singing bowls.

A GIFT THAT CONTINUES
These bowls came to Happy Acres through an unexpected act of generosity.
They belonged to a dear friend who has since passed away. After her passing, her husband chose to bless our ministry by entrusting her singing bowls to us.
We received them with gratitude.
And rather than allowing them to simply sit on a shelf, we believe one of the most beautiful ways to honor a gift is to allow it to continue giving.
So these bowls now have a new home at Happy Acres.
Their sound will be shared with our community as part of Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy's ministry of rest, reflection, fellowship, and renewal.
What began as one person's gift can now create moments of peace for many others.
A gift received. A life remembered. A blessing passed forward.
SOUND + STILLNESS
Sound has accompanied spiritual practice for generations. Throughout Scripture we find music, instruments, singing, celebration, lament, silence, prayer, and worship woven throughout people's relationship with God and one another.
Sacred Sound isn't about performing. It is about creating an environment where you can become still enough to notice what is happening within you.
As the bowls are gently played, their tones overlap and fade naturally into silence.

Reflect
Rest
There is nothing you are required to feel, believe, say, or experience.
We simply hold the space.
THE EXPERIENCE
A Sacred Sound gathering is intentionally simple.
You'll find a comfortable place to sit or lie down while singing bowls are gently played throughout the space. Rather than trying to accomplish something, you're invited to simply receive the moment.

There is no required religious activity and no expectation that participants practice a particular denomination or spiritual tradition.
You are welcome to experience the space in the way that is meaningful to you.

Sound isn't only something we hear. We can also experience vibration physically.
Singing bowls produce sustained tones and vibrations that many people find calming and conducive to relaxation, meditation, and mindful breathing.
People often seek sound-based relaxation experiences for their possible ability to support:

Sacred Sound is open to our community. You do not need to become a member of Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy to participate.
Individuals, couples, friends, families, visitors, and members of our community are welcome to experience these gatherings.
Whatever brings you through our doors, our hope is that you leave carrying a little less than when you arrived.
SOUND + FIRE + WATER
Imagine beginning beside the warmth of a wood-burning fire. Settling into naturally mineral-rich spring water. Listening as the sound of a singing bowl moves through the quiet surroundings.
Our Baptism by Fire ministry brings together water and fire. Sacred Sound adds another element: listening.
Together, these experiences create opportunities to step away from everyday demands and make room for prayer, fellowship, stillness, reflection, and renewal.

Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy exists because people choose to participate, volunteer, give, and believe in creating spaces like this.
Participation contributions help us care for the bowls and instruments, maintain our gathering spaces, provide supplies, and continue offering charitable and religious ministry experiences to our community.

MORE THAN SOUND
We don't believe ministry always has to look the same.
Sometimes ministry looks like gathering around a table.
Sometimes it looks like prayer.
Sometimes it looks like feeding someone.
Sometimes it looks like fellowship around a fire.
Sometimes it looks like giving someone a quiet place to soak and breathe.
And sometimes...
it sounds like a singing bowl slowly fading into silence while a room full of people finally allows themselves to rest.
That is the heart behind Sacred Sound.
A MINISTRY OF BREATHE EASY SPEAKTEASY
Sacred Sound is offered through Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy (B.E.S.T.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious ministry at Happy Acres.
Our ministry holds space for fellowship, spiritual practice, charitable hospitality, education, recreation, community gathering, Sabbath rest, and opportunities for personal and spiritual renewal. Participation contributions help offset the costs associated with providing these experiences and support the continuing charitable and religious mission of Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy.
Our ministry is intended to serve people from many walks of life. You don't have to believe exactly as we do to be welcomed by us.
