We Are Here For You
Come Away • Settle In • Rest
Overnight accommodations at Happy Acres support our retreat, group camping, Sabbath rest, fellowship, educational, recreational, and ministry experiences.
Whether you're coming by yourself, with someone you love, or as part of a larger gathering, you're invited to stay awhile.
Sanctuary Stays make room for that.
STAY A LITTLE LONGER
Sanctuary isn't necessarily a building.
Sometimes it's a tent beneath the trees. Sometimes it's your camper parked beside friends. Sometimes it's waking up slowly with a cup of tea and nowhere you need to rush off to.
Our Sanctuary Stays create opportunities for people participating in the life and ministry of Happy Acres to remain on the property overnight or for several days.
Come for the experience. Stay for the stillness.
Tent Camping
Sleep beneath the Trees
Creation • Firepit • Fellowship • Rest
Bring your tent and settle into a simple outdoor stay surrounded by creation.
Perfect for individuals, couples, families, retreats, and groups who want the traditional camping experience.
CAR CAMPING
Bring Your Own Sanctuary
Simple • Flexible • Outdoors • Restful
Sometimes everything you need fits in the back of your vehicle.
Our car-camping spaces provide a simple way to remain at Happy Acres while enjoying the property and participating in ministry experiences.
CAMPER + RV STAYS
Bring Home With You
Camp • Gather • Explore • Reconnect
Traveling in a camper, van, or RV?
Stay on the property while participating in group camping, retreats, gatherings, recreation, or simply taking some intentional time away.
READY-TO-STAY CAMPERS
Come As You Are
Arrive • Settle In • Exhale
Don't have camping equipment?
Some Sanctuary Stays are already waiting for you.
Our hosted campers and unique accommodations offer another way to participate in an overnight retreat experience without bringing an entire camping setup.
This is where I'd feature the 90s pop-up camper, VW/Vanagon and any other ready-to-stay accommodations individually with beautiful photographs.

A MINISTRY OF BREATHE EASY SPEAKTEASY
Sanctuary Stays are offered through Breathe Easy SpeakTeasy (B.E.S.T.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious ministry at Happy Acres at the Bayou.
Our overnight accommodations support participation in the religious, charitable, educational, recreational, hospitality, retreat, fellowship, and group camping activities of our ministry.
They allow people to remain in community, participate in multi-day experiences, receive hospitality, and find intentional space for rest and renewal.
You don't have to believe exactly as we do to be welcomed by us.
The accommodation provides a place to sleep.
The ministry gives us a reason to stay.
Come Away For A While
Read. Pray. Walk. Drink tea. Sit beside the fire. Join a gathering. Take a class. Have conversation with someone you didn’t know yesterday. Or do absolutely nothing for a while.
There is room here for both, gathering and solitude.
Holding Space for Our Community to Grow & Thrive.
