Check-In Policy

Please arrive no earlier than 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment time. Any earlier may delay your start time, because your therapist will need to checkout their previous member and setup for you. Please respect Therapist time when arriving way too early, or maybe a little late for your appointment.

Service Procedure

If this is your first time at Breathe, welcome! We opened in September 2015, moved to a location December 2017 and thanks to 2020, we are now in our final space. Our mission and passion at Breathe is to create a safe, comfortable and secure feeling environment. You’re asked to remove your shoes and socks. Purse and jacket can be hung in the main area. We ease you into it with a foot wash. So wear pants that can move up to your knees. You’ll soak your feet for a few minutes while you talk to your therapist as they wash your feet in a warm Epsom Salt infused bath water.

Depending on what service you have have scheduled, lets say a massage for an example; your therapist will bring you back to your treatment room and will instruct you to dress down to your comfort level (undies on or off and bra removed). You will start face up for a massage, UNDERNEATH the sheets, COMPLETELY COVERING YOURSELF. Please do not start disrobing until after Therapist Instructions is done and she has left the room to give you privacy. She will knock before re-entering the room a few minutes later. Then the pillow that’s under your ankles will be adjusted and the sheets will be securely draped; so they’re snug and your comfortable. Your therapist is trained and licensed for these draping techniques. Only the areas they are working on will be exposed and draped properly to standards. Please do not loosen your own drapes, please ask therapist to adjust them for you, if they’re too tight. This is a Safe Touch Environment. Throughout your service, you’ll experience hot towels, aromatherapy and relaxation. If at any moment you need the therapist to adjust something; (music, table heat, pressure, draping) please let her know and she will make those changes right away. Remember, this is your experience, we want to create the best space possible for you.

*Any inappropriate behavior from a member or member’s guests will lead to cancelling and blacklisting the member indefinitely. We are creating a safe, secure, private space for you and we expect the same respect from you.

After Care Routine

Now that you’re all nice, relaxed and hardly heard a word we said as you floated out the door. What did they tell me? What was I supposed to remember to do?… Maybe going through your mind.

Drink Plenty of H2O - Real, plain, room temp water. Maybe with a little lemon, but your body is already detoxing from all the amazing therapy you received

If you do not drink enough water and you received a PREGNANCY MASSAGE - YOU WILL EXPERIENCE BRAXTON HICKS AND POSSIBILITY NAUSEA. Water is key for your BODY AND THE GROWTH/HEALTH OF YOUR BABY. Cramps are beginning signs of Dehydration. On a positive note; if you’re 38 weeks plus - receiving an induction massage by De Lisa, you may want to slowly sip your water so you can meet our body soon!

  • If you receive Deep Tissue Massage; it’s extremely important to drink plenty of water to reduce soreness. The more water you drink, the less likely you’ll be sore. Hydrate those tissues and release that lactic acid!

  • Scalp Treatment Aftercare; for some herbs, it takes up to 7 hours to fully absorb topically so feel free to wash your hair the next day for full benefits.

To continue your monthly routine please schedule an appointment within 4 weeks of your last service at Breathe to receive a discount on your next visit.
